At Wot Wud U Do, we understand that every young person faces different challenges – and as a parent, you want the best support available. Our team of dedicated professionals, each with their own experience of living with the challenges of not fitting in with the ‘norm’, are here to help your child grow in confidence, make better choices, and feel more in control of their emotions and future.

We work with young people aged 11–25 who may be struggling socially, emotionally, or mentally. Whether they need a safe space to talk, be creative, or simply feel understood – we’re here for them, and for you.

What We Offer:

Alternative Provision for 11–16 Year Olds

Our creative alternative provision supports 11–16 year olds who are struggling in mainstream education, including those with diagnosed or undiagnosed needs. Working closely with schools and parents, we guide each young person through a weekly programme that builds confidence, emotional skills and self-expression. Participants explore exhibitions, research artists, and create their own arts-based project focused on a real-world issue they care about—such as mental health or discrimination. The programme ends with a nationally recognised Arts Award qualification.

This is a space for young people who don’t fit the mainstream, to thrive, be heard, and build a future through creativity.

Youth Provision for 16–25 Year Olds

Our creative development programme offers 16–25 year olds—especially those disengaged from college or work—a hands-on, inspiring alternative to traditional education. Through workshops, mentoring, and visits to exhibitions or live events, participants research an artist and develop their own arts project tackling a social issue that matters to them. The journey culminates in a recognised Arts Award qualification that builds creative confidence and employability. Whether you’re a college seeking extra support for learners or a parent wanting a fresh start for your young person, we create opportunities for them to find purpose, grow emotionally, and express their voice.

Ongoing Support & Communication

We’ll keep you updated on your child’s progress and offer advice or check-ins along the way.

"I pick up a lot of the resources off the PSHE association and some come as lesson plans where you work it out yourself, and some come as PowerPoints where you can tweak them, but none of them, are as good as these or as ready to go. All the information is on the slide, it’s detailed, there’s direct links to website and videos and there is a complete package which no other resources, I don’t think, bar maybe a couple of large charity ones, have been that ready to use.’"
